The firm
The practice provides professional building surveying, contract administration and project management services to residential and commercial property owners, managers, occupiers, insurers and loss adjusters throughout Jersey and the Channel Islands.
Peak Surveying Services Limited is regulated by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, ensuring that all services are delivered in accordance with the highest professional, ethical, and technical standards.

Building surveyor. MSc Commercial Building Surveying, Liverpool John Moores University.
Mike holds an MSc in Commercial Building Surveying from Liverpool John Moores University and has more than 15 years' experience across building surveying, insurance reinstatement and construction project delivery.
He began his career with a national loss adjusting practice, giving him a detailed understanding of the insurance claims process from the insurer's perspective. He relocated to Jersey in 2010 and subsequently worked for a local independent building surveying consultancy before establishing Peak Surveying Services in 2012.
Mike specialises in building pathology, insurance reinstatement, contract administration, project management, building defects and repair management.

Chartered Building Surveyor
Iain's career in building surveying spans London and Jersey, having qualified as a Chartered Building Surveyor in 1986. He has worked across the profession since 1984, gaining extensive experience in both public and private sector property.
Previous roles include the Property Services Agency, Kemsley Whiteley & Ferris, Grosvenor Investments, Royal Bank of Scotland, CBRE and Savills.
Iain is a generalist building surveyor with particular interests and experience in building pathology, dilapidations, building refurbishment, contract administration and project management.
He joined Peak Surveying Services as Head of Surveying Services in December 2023.
